Jeffrey Kaplan is a social entrepreneur and founder of New Living, a Certified B Corp that is a sustainable home furnishing store and artisan workshop committed to improving the environmental health and well-being of families in homes. He is also is behind Houston Needs A Swimming Hole, a campaign to build a massive naturally filtered public swimming hole in Houston’s inner-city along the banks of Buffalo Bayou.

Daniel is a loving husband and proud father of a 2 year old son, Elias and has a baby girl on the way. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a bachelors in Maritime Business Administration, and currently works as a tanker Broker for McQuilling Partners here in Houston.  Daniel and his wife, Kristin, are currently building a home to birth their baby girl in and raise their family. They have chosen to adopt healthy, green materials into their future home
