Cara DeBusk is a co-founder of Houston Sudbury School and currently staffs the school full-time. She holds a BFA in Photography from the University of Houston. Cara was teacher and Dept. Chair of the Media Arts Dept. at Episcopal High School for 16 years and has also been an exhibiting artist and write in Houston for almost 30 years. Cara retired from teaching in 2011 to unschool her younger daughter and was co-Founder, with her husband Andrew, of Houston Unschooling Kids. In 2015, Cara helped to organize the Founders Group to start Houston Sudbury School, which opened January 2016.
