Diane became a certified childbirth educator and started attending births as a doula in 1978. Digital Doula®2.0, its companion app, is designed to complement and supplement the book with additional material and resources not included in the book, and brings the links in the book to life. The app is a virtual doula, available at any time of day or night! In 2022, Diane is introducing an online course on thriving in the fourth trimester, an eight-module preparation for life after birth covering the range of experiences new parents encounter. Diane is an international speaker at conferences on a range of subjects related to childbirth, the postnatal period, perinatal mental health, and parenting.
